On March 8th we rolled out the full release of OfficeSheet for MsExcel (OS4XL), officially now v1.0.1.12. There are many exciting new features but mostly the last few months has been about fixing bugs, cleaning up inconsistencies and (my personal favourite) documentation.
We now have 6 guides and consisting of over 500 pages of very detailed descriptions of the products and their capabilities. Admittedly some pages are repeated, but so what…
the one area that needs a bit more work is the documentation on the over 100 command extensions that we’ve implemented for our VBScript scripting environment. The help for this is a neat command browser that works right out of the script text editor. this is actually re-use of our own technology as the command browser is actually the same as the datasheet grid and the data is maintained in a DataSheet.
there are still a few defects we are working on and some additional examples and sample data files to be added, but we’ll do this over the next few weeks as we roll out some videos of key functions.
pls download the latest version and take a look. we welcome your feedback and pls always submit your defect reports and enhancement requests via the built-in mailer.

Decade Nine releases OfficeSheet for MsExcel (OS4XL) as unrestricted Beta versions for sale at 50% off normal retail prices.
After continued internal testing and restricted Beta usage, Decade Nine announced the immediate release of its OfficeSheet for MsExcel (r) software, the first in its range of full function Smart Clients for Office applications.
Although still officially in Beta status, the core of the software has been in operation for many months and will provide value to many users working in information intensive environments using MsExcel. The main areas yet to be completed are complete document and help integration. Some minor functional areas require completion and there may still exist some undetected defects requiring debugging and correction. On the whole however the software will pay back its investment very quickly.
Some users have recovered their investments within one day of first use, and certainly within a week. Once released as final, all users who purchase the Beta Version will receive the new version of the Edition that they have purchased at no extra charge, together with additional bonuses.
